Mr. Juan Carlos (Charlie) Cardenas is a civil engineer at ICE and a licensed professional engineer in the state of Texas (TX#99227) with over twenty-seven (27) years of experience in civil engineering. Mr. Cardenas understands the needs of the community, including the safety and economic impacts this project can have on the city. For that reason, he will serve as a senior engineer and his involvement will be on a fully informed daily basis. As a senior engineer, he will ensure that engineering best practices are met for all design aspects utilizing the latest technologies, standards, with project completion in an efficient and timely manner. Mr. Cardenas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering. Mr. Cardenas has worked in the capacities of deputy director and city traffic engineer for the City of Corpus Christi Street Operations Department and the City Engineer/Director of Public Works for the City of Kingsville. Mr. Cardenas has experience in transportation with the Texas Department of Transportation and municipal operations including water production, water distribution, wastewater collection, wastewater treatment, solid waste, stormwater, and roadway infrastructure development.
